Web engineer since 2012.

Sites, stores and web apps for agencies and product teams in the US and Europe. The last three years I’ve also spent making AI actually work inside real products, on stacks that have to stay fast and cheap.

The story so far

I started building WordPress sites and web apps full-time in 2012, shipping for agencies and product teams. In 2018 I went independent, and in 2020 I was accepted into Toptal and Codeable, which is where most of my work with US and European teams has come from since.

Today I’m also a Principal Engineer at Malwarebytes, working on WordPress at scale and the security problems that come with it. Independent projects run alongside that, which is why I take on only a few at a time, and why I treat every feature as a production system, not a demo.

Most of my work is still the web itself: redesigns that keep their SEO, WooCommerce stores that convert, custom plugins and integrations, and sites that stay up under real traffic. What interests me now is the gap between an AI demo and an AI feature: search that stays relevant at 50k products, assistants whose API bill someone can actually explain. I take on both.

I work directly with your team, in your repo, with documentation you can keep without me. If AI isn’t the right tool for the problem, I’ll tell you on the first call.
